A Remarkable, Life Changing And Humbling Experience

A safari had been on our bucket list, it was something we talked about for years and then finally took the plunge! My search was easy, I google searched the top five safari companies in the United States and Africa Dream Safaris was on that list. What set them apart was their web site, blog pages, personalized tours, and the recommendation of National Geographic.

We Will Always Cherish Our Memories Of Tanzania!

As avid outdoorspeople and nature lovers, my husband and I decided last year that an African safari would be a great adventure. In particular, we wanted to see the wildebeest migration, and that led us to Tanzania. After several hours of research, it became apparent that African Dream Safaris offered just the type of experience we were interested in.

Our Amazing African Safari

My wife and I completed an amazing 12 day safari in September with Africa Dream Safari (ADS), which exceeded all of our expectations. There are many reasons why I am glad that I selected ADS for our safari. First, I received expert advice when planning the itinerary for our trip and choosing the camps. (Many thanks to Sharon for answering all of my pesky questions and to Michael for his photography tips—the beanbags worked out great!).

What is a Typical Day Like on Safari?

A question I get quite often is what is a typical day like on safari while in Tanzania?  Some different variations of the question are “how many game drives are there” or “how long do we spend on game drive each day”?  But the answer depends entirely on you! Such is the inherent benefit of enjoying a “Private” Safari!

The Big 5, Trip Enhancements And Lodges Beyond Our Wildest Dreams

Africa Dream Safaris provided my family with the best vacation possible. From the very beginning, Dawn went above and beyond on planning, not overlooking any detail. From the minute we landed in Kilimanjaro, everything was handled for us. Fulfilling A 70 Year Old Dream!

When I booked this trip, I asked for Photography all the time and you did not disappoint! We were met at immigration and avoided a 2 ½ hour line and the following morning we were met by an individual named Precious. Sincerely she is Precious. She was the personification of a modern African women, smart, erudite and gracious.

Magnificent Hippos

Hippos are one of the most treasured creatures spotted while on safari. While these magnificent mammals were once found all throughout Africa, hunting and habitat loss has sadly made their population decline. Today they are primarily found in protected East African countries – like Tanzania.
