Uniting Mothers Around the World

One of the ways Africa Dream Safaris helps to support the people of Tanzania, is through our humanitarian partnership with FAME Medical. Since 2002, this organization has been saving the lives of marginalized and impoverished communities living in the most remote parts of the Karatu District and greater Arusha region. With it’s new Obstetric unit built in 2014, FAME has been able to channel support from its sponsors into ever-expanding efforts to reduce maternal mortality rates and provide pregnant women with a safe and compassionate birthing experience. Learn how funding from our guests’ safaris is helping to give back to mothers in need.

An Enlightening Visit With the Maasai

I just wanted to tell you what a fantastic safari experience we had in Tanzania. It was more of an adventure, in a very good way, then I could have ever imagined. The accommodations, as well as the food, were first class. Our guide, Ally, was so experienced and knowledgeable that he was like a member of the family showing us the wonders of where he lives.

Africa Is A Place That Will Call You To Return Again And Again!

The decision to travel with Africa Dream Safaris this past August 2018 was a very easy one because we had traveled with them in March of 2017, during the Green Season. My husband was keen to photograph the Great Migration in the North Serengeti, on the Mara River. Our guide, Pokea, told him , ‘Then you have to come back at the end of August!’ So we did!

ADS Delivers What They Advertise With Great Panache!

How does a person research and decide on a safari company? I tried to recall my research and what lead us choose Africa Dream Safari for our trip. One of the main reasons for choosing ADS was the private tour concept and what the reviews shared about this. We were going as a family and wanted it to be us sharing and not ‘making friends’ or some dictating our trip with their limitations.

The Animal Viewing Will Far Exceed Your Wildest Imagination!

When we returned from our Africa Dream Safaris vacation in July 2018, we tried with great difficulty to explain to our friends and family the magic of our experience. We describe it with this analogy: “When you see a wildebeest at the zoo, you think to yourself, “Wildebeest…boring….let’s go see the elephants!” However, on Safari, it feels as though you have been transported back in time when you see thousands upon thousands of those very animals running straight toward your vehicle!

Our Second Once In A Lifetime Safari!

Several years ago we took a once in a lifetime trip with ADS. It was incredible! The fact that we controlled the adventure was perfect for us – if we wanted to hang back and watch something, we could. Having our own dedicated driver guide made that possible. The guides and the camps were exceptional, and the people we dealt with were helpful, friendly, and went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed ourselves.
