3 Ways to Travel More Sustainably

Today’s travelers want an experience that deeply connects them to our planet and its people. With this desire comes a responsibility to travel sustainably. For many, this means finding ways to maintain tourism without harming natural and cultural environments. For us, this also means finding ways to give back.

At Africa Dream Safaris, we’ve taken this initiative very seriously since our company originated over 20 years ago. Conservation and humanitarian efforts are an integral part of each trip we host to Tanzania and it’s our top priority to help preserve the beauty and wonders of this region.

If you’re considering a trip to Africa – to experience its breathtaking landscapes, to stand in awe of its unsurpassed wildlife, and to interact authentically with different cultures; think about how you can help sustain its magic. Africa Is A Place That Will Call You To Return Again And Again!

The decision to travel with Africa Dream Safaris this past August 2018 was a very easy one because we had traveled with them in March of 2017, during the Green Season. My husband was keen to photograph the Great Migration in the North Serengeti, on the Mara River. Our guide, Pokea, told him , ‘Then you have to come back at the end of August!’ So we did!

ADS Delivers What They Advertise With Great Panache!

How does a person research and decide on a safari company? I tried to recall my research and what lead us choose Africa Dream Safari for our trip. One of the main reasons for choosing ADS was the private tour concept and what the reviews shared about this. We were going as a family and wanted it to be us sharing and not ‘making friends’ or some dictating our trip with their limitations.

The Animal Viewing Will Far Exceed Your Wildest Imagination!

When we returned from our Africa Dream Safaris vacation in July 2018, we tried with great difficulty to explain to our friends and family the magic of our experience. The guides and the camps were exceptional, and the people we dealt with were helpful, friendly, and went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed ourselves.

There Was So Much We Loved About Our Trip!

I’m not sure where to even start other than we had a fantastic safari. First of all, the tented camps and tented lodges were much nicer than we envisioned. The workers at all of our lodges, which many were local Masai, were incredibly friendly and always happy to help in any way. That also seemed to be true of all the Tanzanian people we dealt with from the hotels to the cultural center to F.A.M.E to the meet and greet staff and to any locals we met on safari.
