When we decided that it was the right time in our lives for our long-awaited Safari adventure, we next needed to decide the right place. After my first conversation with Dawn at ADS, I knew that Tanzania was that right place and ADS was the perfect fit for us as a couple.

When we decided to take my wife’s bucket list trip a year ago, we really had no idea the actual safari experience would far exceed our expectations! We arrived thinking this would be our one and only safari trip. We left Tanzania talking about and planning our return trip. What an amazing journey!
Like many, I began planning for our safari by researching the internet to find out: when was the best time of the year to visit, where should we visit, what were the merits of the various travel companies that offer a safari in their catalog and who could we trust with planning this unique adventure for us.
My wife and I completed an amazing 12 day safari in September with Africa Dream Safari (ADS), which exceeded all of our expectations. Going on a safari has been a life long dream of my wife and mine and our emotions and expectations were soaring as the days neared. Now I sit at my computer in Miami, with the task of articulating the adventure we just returned from. Well here it goes.

Our safari began, as so many others have described, with arrival at Kilimanjaro airport and a swift and easy passage through customs and arrival at Mount Meru Resort in Arusha. The following day we were treated to a tour of Arusha with an informative, detailed running commentary by Mathias and Joseph about the city, its people, and industries. We also toured the Cultural Heritage Center that holds a vast collection of paintings, carvings, and jewelry.
