In 2020, we decided to visit Africa but when Covid hit, we put everything on hold. Last September (2024), we received a newsletter from African Dream Safaris which had been one of the tour guides we did look at. We decided to talk to them and see what was possible within our budget. We began working with Dawn to plan out the itinerary. She was very accommodating and answered all of our concerns and requests. The process was smooth and productive. We decided to proceed with the trip and scheduled May 2025.
Eagle Eyes, Starry Skies, and Serengeti Magic: Our Safari Story
It Just Gets Better Every Time!
A few weeks have passed since our family has returned from Tanzania but Tanzania has not left us. At its core this is what makes an African safari so special. It has been written and said many times, in ways more eloquently than I ever could, that Africa plants a feeling inside you that never stops growing. For my wife and I, this started 13 years ago after our first trip with Africa Dream Safaris (ADS). (You can find a link to the review from that trip here: A Magical Symphony for the Senses – A Tanzania Travelogue. We have been waiting for the right moment to return with our children.
Very Few Vacations Over Deliver But ADS Did In Abundance!
This was, without a doubt, the most memorable trip of our lives! When people say it is life-changing, they are right! We were totally impressed with the entire ADS staff and the excellent attention to detail which went into the whole safari experience.
Kudos To Our Professional, Competent, Capable and Friendly Guide!
We went on a ten-day safari to Tanzania in March 2025 upon the strong recommendation of friends, and the safari exceeded our expectations in many ways. Primarily, what impressed us was Peter, our safari guide. Not only did he have extensive knowledge of the animals, birds, and flora, but he really understood the pace we hoped to enjoy.
