For over six years, my really great teacher friend had told me about her amazing safaris to Africa…how close they got to the animals like no other company, and ‘check out these amazing photos of the cheetah on their jeep from a few years ago.’ In turn, I was in awe of course, but the worries were there….what would I do with my two children? Would I have to get shots? What about the expenses?
On the second day of our safari in March of 2019 I asked my wife, “How do you like our vacation?” “It is not a vacation, it is a lifetime experience!” she replied. The next 13 days totally verified how true that statement was. All of our senses filled us with wonder, joy and extraordinary new memories throughout the trip.
Our Safari trip with Africa Dream Safaris far exceeded our expectations. From the time we arrived in Arusha to the time we completed our tour we felt well taken care of. With the careful logistical planning that ADS provided, we were able to breeze through customs and immigration and it was a comforting feeling to have an escort that we could trust.
Several years ago we took a once in a lifetime trip with ADS. It was incredible! The fact that we controlled the adventure was perfect for us – if we wanted to hang back and watch something, we could. Having our own dedicated driver guide made that possible. The guides and the camps were exceptional, and the people we dealt with were helpful, friendly, and went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed ourselves.
This was my third safari to Tanzania with Africa Dream Safaris and once again, it was fabulous! I have now been to Tanzania in February during the green season, September during the dry season, and this time in April. Each safari has been different, special, and always perfect thanks to the work of the people at ADS!
Back in the fall of 2014 my wife and I decided it was time to fulfill our ‘once in a lifetime’ dream trip. We made the wise choice to use ADS for our tour and we were overwhelmed with the experience, which was perfect in every way. Our once in a lifetime trip turned into a ‘we gotta go back again trip’, so we returned to Tanzania in March 2018.
I don’t have the words to express the incredibly surprising expedition I recently found myself taking. I, and 2 friends, went on a safari with Africa Dream Safaris in Tanzania. It was an amazing adventure. ADS delivered everything they said they would, and I feel like they delivered much more. It was life changing!
Stunning sunrises, animals galore, star filled night skies, the most welcoming people on earth, beauty and stillness like nowhere else! And this was only day two! Four girlfriends set out for an adventure and had an amazing trip of a lifetime with Africa Dream Safaris in March – April 2018.
I love Africa and all that it offers, to both the heart and the soul. To me there is no place quite like it on Earth. It is hard to explain this to people who have never been, but it is truly life changing, and I love to share my experiences traveling there with my friends.
Nine of us women, mostly teachers and friends, set off for Tanzania to experience the most thrilling adventure many of us will never forget!
I am compelled to write this blog about our recent safari experience with Africa Dream Safari for several reasons. You see, I really had no idea what I was to get out of the experience. I am not an avid photographer and I am not necessarily an ‘outdoorsman’. I just knew that I was looking for something that did not fit into my definition of a ‘standard vacation’.

Africa dream safari turned our dreams into reality and made our once in a lifetime trip one that we can’t wait to repeat. From the first contact Sharon was receptive, helpful, and completely patient while we asked question after question, and made tons of changes to our itinerary.
I just returned from Tanzania on an Africa Dream Safaris trip. It was certainly nothing like I have ever done before and it quickly became the trip of a lifetime for me.
We just got home from our unforgettable trip to Tanzania. We are so lucky to have booked our trip through African Dream Safaris and been guided by the able and amiable Roman Desderius.
We had the best time with the BEST guide Tumsifu this past March. He took us places other safari companies did not go and went above and beyond our expectations. We saw so many animals, including animals we did not expect to see like a tortoise. We also seen a baby Thomson gazelle minutes after it was born, the mother was still cleaning it off and it couldn’t even walk yet.
