Africa Dream Safaris was wonderful from start to finish. They provided us with a package of very useful information prior to the trip. From the time we landed in Tanzania with a friendly face to welcome us, until we were returning to go home (so sad!), everything was very well planned.

Our guide, Dhal, was fabulous! He was so knowledgeable about all the animals and their behavior, the culture, the geography, and Tanzania in general. We were able to see four of the Big five animals in the first 2 hours!!

Dhal seemed to know exactly where the animals were located. He was like the animal whisperer! It just kept getting better and better each day, and far exceeded anything we could possibly imagine.

We couldn’t believe we were lucky enough to witness the Wildebeest migration cross the Mara River. What a spectacular sight to behold!!! We watched a pride of lions hunting, and saw the aftermath of the kill. Of course, the hyenas were nearby to devour the leftovers.

We watched elephants taking mud baths and pulling down tree limbs with their trunks. They are so majestic! The tusks of one elephant were so long, they curled!

We watched a leopard lying in a tree with an unsuspecting hyena just below.

We parked by a watering hole and watched as elephants, giraffes, zebras, impalas, gazelles, and wildebeest all drank together while two lions were lying nearby casually watching. What a beautiful sight!!

The Ngorongoro Crater was vast! It is the largest unfilled, and inactive volcano in the world! It is also home to many animals, including rhinos and thousands of flamingos.

The camps where we stayed were all so nice, some even had swimming pools! The food was abundant and very good. The candlelight bush dinners were so amazing and special. What a way to end a day by sitting on the balcony watching the sunset with wildebeest, giraffe,  warthogs and zebras strolling by!

We have shown our pictures, and told of our amazing safari trip to our friends and family. They were very impressed as we were! Thank you Africa Dream Safaris, and especially Dhal, for making this dream come true. You gave us a trip of a lifetime! We are forever ambassadors for Africa Dream Safaris!!!
