An African Safari was on my Bucket List…and this was like a dream come. From start to finish this was an experience that exceeded my expectations! Traveling with my sister, brother, and niece – we were “all-in” to fully absorb and experience every opportunity that was presented to us.

From the moment we arrived at Kilimanjaro Airport, until we said our heartfelt thank you’s and good-byes, we were taken care of by the “ADS family” with enthusiasm, care, and expertise.

Our guide, Russell, made our experience 5 Star. Russell’s knowledge of the animals, birds, land, locations, tribes, and history, consistently held us in awe. We were thrilled to experience The Big Five. It was beyond fascinating to see the animals in such a variety of circumstances and locations.

We witnessed a leopard and it’s kill, giraffe’s “necking”, a lioness warding off a junior lion from her pride, wart hogs with their tales dancing in the air, a hyena with a wildebeest tail between it’s teeth, a lion and lioness dining on their kill, beautiful birds, spent a day with the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes, and enjoyed sunsets that took our breath away.

In addition to our all-day game drives, we dined al fresco several times, enjoyed a variety of delicious cuisines, picnicked lake side, warmed up by bon fires beneath a sky of stars I’ve never seen before, and slept like a baby in the exquisite variety of accommodations.

Words cannot possibly describe the extent of what we experienced.

I am grateful that I had this opportunity with ADS…the memories will last a lifetime.
