Our trip was unbelievable. Every time someone asks me about it my answer is “My expectations were high, but the trip exceeded my expectations”. We want to thank Africa Dream Safaris for the wonderful unexpected perks along the way. The Sundowner Cocktail Party was fabulous. Not only was the food and drink good, but we were visited by several lions nearby. The two cakes were great, especially the one at the tented camp. The gifts were very nice also and have been great to show our friends.
Our guide Patrick was way past unbelievable. He is so knowledgeable and what a great personality also. He was most accommodating so our schedule worked for us. I was constantly amazed at how he found all of the animals and could position us so close to them for pictures. He is a real asset to to the organization.
We particularly enjoyed the tented camps. Mara River Camp and Seronera Sametu Camp were the best. We liked them much better than the lodges. Service was especially good at the camps and the people there were the best. The African Tulip was a good choice also.
After culling through our pictures several times, we still ended up with about 300. We got some really good close up head shots (see below).
We will seriously consider a return trip in a couple of years. I hope we can make it happen.
Thank you for all your help. Your advice on advance preparation really paid off. Please feel free to refer anyone considering a trip to us. We will be happy to share all of our wonderful experiences.
Regards,

We would love to talk to anyone planning a trip to Africa.
We are eagerly anticipating our second trip with ADS in April. I would be happy to speak with you.
What camera and lens did you use? We are scheduled for an ADS trip in May.

Hi we are planning our African trip. Looking at your pictures did you go in the wet or dry season, a lot of green showing. Also how are the camps? We have been looking at a mix of lodges in camps and really can’t decide. Which of the 4 option levels did you chose? Any Guidance you can provide would be appreciated.
many thanks.
We are going to Tanzania in March,2018. We do not have a camera with a long lens—only goes to 18X optical zoom. do you think we will be able to get any good pictures?
What suggestions would you have for anything?
Did you spend any time in Arusha?
I have been with ADS three times but only during the dry season. Each time has been phenomenal. Prefer the tented camps with perhaps one night at a lodge in the middle of the trip.
