We’ve just returned from 12 days in Tanzania with Africa Dream Safaris and it was overall one of the most memorable journeys we have ever taken. From the first day on the ground in the North Serengeti we were amazed at the number of different animals we saw including lion, giraffes, elephants, ostrich’s, and many more. And it only got better after that. We were able to witness a parade of hippos just outside of room as they arose from their afternoon nap and lumbered into the river.

In the days that followed our guide Roman was able to locate leopards, cheetah, serval, caracal, and a family of lions having breakfast right by the side of the road. Bird life was amazing as well from the ever present ostrich to flamingos, to Kori bustards, to secretary birds, to buzzards, to storks, to sacred ibis, and so, so many more.

But I’d be remiss if I didn’t praise how we were treated as royalty by everyone from Joseph and Emmanuel in Arusha, to Roman, my brother and our amazing guide throughout the trip, and to the staffs of each and every camp we stayed at on our journey. We felt welcome everywhere.

I would also be remiss if I didn’t mention just how good the food was throughout the trip. From breakfasts to boxed lunches to feasts for dinner, we were never at want for a delicious meal.

Overall, I would not hesitate for one second to anyone wishing to experience the absolute wonderment of life in the Serengeti to do so with Africa Dream Safaris. They take the risk of the unknown completely out of the equation and are there with you throughout the adventure helping to make it an experience you will cherish forever.
