In a word, perfect. Our guide, Pokea, had a 6th sense for where there would be animals and action. The first day we witnessed a crossing of the Mara River by wildebeests. From there, we saw everything from a lion kill to a leopard. We even had a close-up experience with cheetahs. It was beyond anything we imagined we’d see.

Almost better than the wildlife was the people. Pokea seemed to be an encyclopedia of knowledge about the Serengeti. The staff at the lodges were amazing as well. Their hospitality and level of service was second to none. Not to mention the wildlife all around you. At Seronera Sametu Camp, there was no separation between us and the wildlife except the glass door of our tent.

There is nothing we would change. It was an incredible experience that exceeded our expectations at every stage. Even the transport to and from the airport was top-notch. Five stars and two thumbs up. Trip of a lifetime.
