I want to start by saying the safari greatly surpassed our expectations. African Dream Safari took care of us from the time we landed in Kilimanjaro Airport until the time we departed for our trip home. It was an adventure of a lifetime. In the first hour of our safari we saw three of the big five game animals. By the end of our safari we saw all five!

It was wonderful to see all of the animals in their own environment. The lodges were fantastic and the staff at all the lodges were so friendly and accommodating. The food was exceptional from the picnic breakfast and lunches to the dinners at the lodges. As regards to our excellent driver Ferouz, he was amazing and he could spot animals a quarter mile away while driving in the rain and over muddy roads.

Due to that we gave him the nickname “Eagle Eye”.  Ferouz was also very knowledgeable, he knew the names of not only the animals but also plants, trees, butterflies, birds and bugs. He had books and would show us pictures of all the things we saw. He also knew how the animals would react to us, he would let us know if we needed to be quite and still. Even though we were only 5 to 10 feet from most of the animals, we never felt threaten by any of them while we were with Eagle Eye.

Our ADS representative, Sharon Lyon, was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions and we had many. She made sure we had all the proper paperwork ready prior to us leaving the states for an easy and smooth transaction into Tanzania.

We would highly recommend African Dream Safari to anyone thinking about going on an African Safari. It was such a great experience that we are already thinking on taking a second trip. Thank you ADS for making our trip to Tanzania an experience we will never forget.
