Our trip to Tanzania was one of the most unforgettable trips of our lives. From the initial planning stages, Sharon Lyon helped put together the perfect trip that provided us with the opportunity to experience everything the Tanzania culture has to offer. From the moment we landed, everyone we met treated us like family.

As we traveled through the Serengeti National Park, taking in the early morning sunrise everyday, we experienced not just one but five great migrations over the course of our first two days! Continuing onwards from the North Serengeti through the Central Serengeti and into Ngorongoro our guide found countless opportunities to experience the animals in their natural habitat. Taking us off the beaten path, not only did we see action around every corner, but we also learned so much about the country and its habitants from our guide.

Throughout the different lodging we stayed at, the camps at Mara River and Lion’s Paw exceeded our expectations. The attention to detail on property and the overwhelming kindness of the staff left a lasting impression that will forever follow us.

As we reflect back on our trip, it’s hard to pinpoint a favorite memory and look forward to returning to Tanzania one day!
